About Randy

I am licensed by the State of Arizona as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have extensive post graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  My private practice in central Phoenix focuses on individual treatment of adults.

I completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the renowned Beck Institute of Philadelphia ( which trains clinicians worldwide in CBT. Its founder, Aaron Beck, M.D., is recognized as the father of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also studied CBT with Christine Padesky, Ph.D., California-based psychologist and protege of Dr. Beck. She too is an international recognized leader in the field of CBT.

I am a Diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT) an independent organization founded by top experts in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to certify clinicians as competent in this form of therapy. To earn this designation, therapists must submit a recorded and written example of their work with patients.

I specialize in treating anxiety, panic attacks, chronic worry, fear, and depression. I teach clients skills to alleviate the physical and psychological symptoms of these problems.

The best way to contact me is by telephone. I schedule my own appointments and will take the time to talk with you to assure that my approach will be a good fit for your situation.
