Randy Weiss Specialization
Anxiety and Panic
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health problems in the United States, causing tremendous suffering personally and professionally. I feel terrible when people tell me they’ve spent years suffering from panic attacks, or unrelenting worry, or social anxiety, because these problems are very treatable with the right methods!
That’s why I’m dedicated to treating Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and other anxiety problems. I get enormous satisfaction from helping people like you feel better relatively quickly! So you can get back to living your life the way you are meant to do – – without fear!

My Experience
Like so many of you, there was a time when the thought of public speaking or leading a meeting of my, then, board of directors, filled me with dread. This was many years ago, before I went to graduate school to become a therapist.
At the time I was the executive director of a statewide organization in the health care field. To overcome my fear, I joined Toastmasters International, and my confidence grew exponentially. I didn’t know it then, but I was doing exposure therapy – – and it worked!
When I began doing psychotherapy, I knew I wanted to specialize in helping individuals and business leaders conquer their emotional road blocks and realize their full potential.
Practice History
How It All Started
I established my private counseling practice, Randy Weiss Therapy, in 2002. I am one of only three therapists in the Phoenix metro area certified as a Diplomate by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Additionally, my practice is the Phoenix Regional Clinic for the National Social Anxiety Center.
My goal for the practice was to specialize in brief, strategic therapy for social anxiety — including fear of public speaking, panic attacks, chronic worry, and unwanted obsessive thoughts.
